My Approach to Helping
As a psychotherapist and Jungian analyst, I will help you tap inner resources to better understand and deal with life challenges. We will explore who the 'you' is under anxiety, fears, depression, difficult relationships, and low esteem. As we navigate through outer and inner times of confusion, you will learn anxiety management and effective communication techniques, and find ways to keep going through depression and grief. During our work together we will also explore how dreams, art, journaling, sandtray, and creative imagination play an active part in healing.
I specialize in working with individuals and couples who want to connect more deeply with their inner lives, their dreams, and unrealized potentials. I pay close attention to the ignored, repressed, or out of tune parts of your psyche that stand in the way of living up to your full potential. Together we will work on exploring hidden aspects and dynamics of the self. As we do this, individuals often find outer life and relationships changing and find themselves more in harmony with innate wisdom and guidance. My interest is to also help you find and hold onto a sense of meaning, fulfillment, and self-worth in times of chaos, confusion, and disorientation.
