My Approach to Helping

I am dedicated to creating a safe, supportive space where you feel truly seen and understood. My approach is built on three key principles: Empathy, Congruence, and Unconditional Positive Regard. I aim to connect with you on a deep level, offering genuine, non-judgmental support that fosters trust and healing.

I use a variety of therapeutic modalities to tailor treatment to your unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness techniques.

If insurance is a barrier, I offer affordable self-pay rates and am committed to making therapy accessible for everyone. In-person sessions are available in Omaha, with telehealth services offered across Nebraska and Iowa. I provide inclusive, affirming therapy for all individuals, including the LGBTQ+ community. My goal is to help you build emotional resilience, self-compassion, and effective coping strategies to lead a fulfilling life.

More Info About My Practice

I am a licensed mental health therapist offering individual therapy to adults aged nineteen and older. Life can be challenging, and I understand that each person’s journey is unique. My approach to therapy is personalized, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based interventions that empower you to make lasting change. I draw upon a variety of therapeutic techniques to ensure that our work together is tailored to your individual needs. I believe no one-size-fits-all approach works for everyone, which is why I integrate several therapeutic modalities to help you create the life you desire.

My Role as a Therapist

As your therapist, one of the most important jobs I have is to create a therapeutic environment that facilitates positive change and growth, for you. An essential part of creating that environment includes establishing a relationship built on trust, respect, acceptance, empathy and collaboration. I believe you will experience me as non-judgmental, genuinely engaged and authentic. Understanding your experience and perspective is always my first priority.
