My Approach to Helping

I specialize in helping families, adolescents, and men deal more effectively with difficulties in their important relationships, as well as with major life transitions, identity issues, emotional struggles, and personal growth needs. I work particularly well with men and women seeking growth and support in the following areas: Anger, Assertiveness, and Productive Conflict; Balancing Emotional Intimacy with Healthy Boundaries; Integrity, Self-Esteem and Empowerment; Health and Fitness Lifestyles; and Mindfulness and Buddhist Psychotherapy.

I am intimately familiar with navigating the terrain of close relationships, and fostering personal growth and transformation. I am skilled at helping people feel supported and at ease enough to express their most authentic selves. This process helps heal loneliness as it leads to needed changes, and my approach is warm, interactive, compassionately direct, holistic, and grounded in my experience of what actually works.
