Clients with Narcissistic Personality present with grandiosity, anger, entitlement, and can be oppositional. This continuing education course provides an overview on the etiology of this disorder, specific symptoms, and details about evidence-based practice.
In this 2-hour continuing education course for therapists, Dr. Philip Feldman, LCSW will also focus on Co-occurring disorders that are correlated with Narcissistic personality, and explain underlying shame, anger, aggression, perfectionism, and lack of empathy. He will discuss ways to help clients identify their symptoms, develop insight, and work on Treatment Goals.

All material in this course is based on empirically validated research. The findings and clinical interventions are pragmatic and highly effective for clinicians who work with this population. A body of research surveyed in this course suggests that the methods are effective and safe for this population. It is consistent with the ethics code of the National Association of Social Work (NASW) and the American Psychological Association (APA).

Before the scheduled event, all registered attendees will be sent a reminder email from GoodTherapy with specific instructions on how to log in to the webinar, as well as links to optional handout materials if applicable.
To attend the event, registered attendees will log in to the Microsoft Teams web conference center using a computer or device with internet access and/or call into the teleconference line on a phone. Attendees will be able to submit questions during the webinar via text chat in the Microsoft Teams web conference center and will be able to see the live streaming video and/or document sharing.
At the conclusion of this event, participants will receive an email with information about how to request a CE certificate in your GoodTherapy Account. To confirm attendance, participants must enter the start code and end code announced at the beginning and end of the live presentation. Participants will also be prompted to complete an online survey evaluating the event. Participants will need to complete this online survey within six days after the event. Dr. Phil Feldman has 35 years of experience as a Clinical Director, Psychotherapist, and Supervisor. He is currently the Clinical Director at Journey to Wellness substance abuse program in New Jersey.
Dr. Feldman has taught numerous clinical topics as a Senior Lecturer at Rutgers University MSW Program since 1995. As a professional speaker, he has presented more than 350 Clinical Seminars. In addition, he is the author of:

Dr. Feldman completed his PhD at Rutgers University, MSW at Yeshiva University, and BA at Emory College.
