Menlo Park is a city in San Mateo County, California. It located on the western shore of San Francisco Bay and covers 10 square miles. D.C. McGlynn and Dennis J. Oliver founded the city in 1854, naming it after the city of Menlough in Ireland. The city was incorporated in 1927.

Menlo Park has a population of 34,000 people. The population grew by 7% from 2010 to 2017. Roughly 87% of people in the city are American citizens (compared to a national average of 93%).
