Hello, I am Lena Kline-Patterson! I have my Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado and Wyoming. I have provided therapy services to children, adolescents and adults by way of utilizing an integrative approach. Many of my clients struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief loss, relationships and so much more.
My clients are the drivers of their therapy and I encourage them to use the time and space as they need. I provide prompts and thought-provoking questions when the client feels they are "stuck" and encourage self-growth.
I always meet clients where they are at and tailor therapy the same way. I create a safe, non-judgmental, and direct therapeutic approach. I also utilize humor in therapy, to help soften some of the vulnerabilities that come along with therapy.
What could be more fascinating than learning about yourself and relevant others. The overwhelming majority of Dr. Evans' clients become very engrossed and even captivated by their increasing self-knowledge, self-awareness, and family/relationship awareness. Increased self and other-awareness are the holy grail for personal change.
My clients describe me as warm, funny, and honest. I strive to blend kindness with wisdom and to be non-judgmental and curious toward my clients. I believe we are all the experts on ourselves and I am here to support clients find or re-connect to their inner experts.
I like to create a very open and honest environment, that is judgement free. I have a semi-direct style but it's not necessarily confrontational rather than me wanting to be clear in what I say and represent my genuine self. Hopefully it feels like talking with a friend or confidante as I want you to be able to be true to yourself as well when
I aim to create a space where you can feel heard. I view therapy as a truly collaborative experience grounded in building a trusting therapeutic relationship. You can expect to be able to show up as you are and receive compassion and empathy.
I am invested in providing a safe and comfortable space for clients to share their stories and experiences and encourage, guide and support them in taking steps to explore and initiate opportunities for growth/healing, skill development, and awareness.
