Altamonte Springs is a city in Seminole County, Florida. It was incorporated in 1920 and spans an area of 9 square miles. There are 44,500 people living in Altamonte Springs.

The county also started a Narcotics Overdose Prevention and Education (NOPE) campaign that educates students about the dangers of drug use. The campaign also targets parents and helps them understand the signs of drug use and how to talk to their children about drugs.
