Cindy Navarrete believes that one must provide a safe and nurturing space to heal and grow. With a dash of humor and a genuine desire to help others, Cindy will create a person-centered, strengths-based approach unique to each person’s life journey. Life can be unpredictable at any stage; providing a safe and nurturing environment can help you and your loved ones create a path to find your inner strengths and promote healing. She enjoys working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families to help them make lasting, meaningful connections.
She is an empathetic and caring individual with 10+ years of experience helping, guiding, and supporting individuals and families. Cindy has extensive experience working with adults, teens, caregivers, and individuals with cognitive or intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorders.
Cindy Navarrete has a Master of Social Work Degree, with an emphasis in Mental Health and Trauma, from the University of Denver. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, with a minor in Ethnic Studies, from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Cindy utilizes techniques from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Existential Psychology, Exposure Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Strengths-Based Therapy.
