My Approach to Helping
I am passionate about normalizing and de-stigmatizing mental health treatment for all ages and ethnicities. I believe in the importance of providing clients with a judgment-free and honest space throughout their therapeutic journey. I received my Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy from Hardin-Simmons University. I completed internships in a variety of settings, including rape crisis center, university, shelter and foster care agency. I have experience in Trust-Based Relationship Intervention, Trauma Informed Care, Play Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy and Crisis Intervention.
