My Approach to Helping

You are more than what you are living through. I want to understand who you are and what you bring to every session. As a specialist in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), I’ll introduce you to skills like emotion regulation to manage the ups, downs, and feelings that go with them. My process is honest and transparent; I'm not afraid to deliver difficult insights, but will do so with kindness and empathy. Ultimately, you will feel grounded in yourself despite your ever-changing surroundings.

Together, we'll build and strengthen your ability to handle anything life throws at you.

More Info About My Practice

All of us are profoundly affected by the spaces and communities in which we live. Our lives are touched by individuals, identities, groups, and systems built into or chosen by us. To be in therapy with me means exploring not only where you want to go, but also how you got to where you are. To heal and move forward, you must connect with your inner self AND explore the external influences, both big and small, that shaped who you are today.
