My Approach to Helping

Mariah Milne believes that every individual is a unique masterpiece, shaped by their experiences, emotions, and feelings. With a deep passion for people and a genuine care for the human experience, she creates a welcoming, non-judgmental, and dynamic space for her clients. Known for her warm, vivacious personality and a touch of humor, Mariah has an exceptional ability to meet clients where they are in their lives. She believes that true growth and healing come from fostering a connection with oneself and others.

Mariah has always known that helping others was her calling and has pursued this passion relentlessly. She holds the belief that everyone, no matter their journey, can benefit from support, and no one is beyond hope or help. Whether you're looking for personal growth, guidance on a specific matter, or general life improvement, Foundations Counseling provides a supportive environment for your transformation.

Mariah earned her Master of Social Work with an emphasis in Adult Mental Health and a Bachelor of Social Work from Metropolitan State University, graduating in 2014. She is a Licensed Professional Social Worker with a diverse career background. Starting with internships at the Coalition for the Homeless and the Eating Disorder Center of Denver, she has since worked extensively in mental health, substance use, trauma, and offender rehabilitation. Mariah has experience in court-mandated treatment, medication-assisted therapy, partial hospital settings, outpatient, inpatient, and more. Her eclectic approach to therapy allows her to tailor her work to the individual needs of each client, drawing from a wide range of psychological techniques to deliver the most effective care.
