My Approach to Helping
The expectations placed on women can cause us to lose touch with ourselves or tune out our inner voice. Setting boundaries and advocating for ourselves are skills many of us need to learn to protect our mental health. By integrating mindfulness with techniques to rewire your thoughts, I create a space for identifying your needs and putting yourself first.
More Info About My Practice
Connection, understanding, and care of the mind is supplemented by connection to the physical body. Because of this, I managed a yoga studio for several years, and I continue teaching and practicing as a member of Brooklyn’s yoga community outside of therapy.
In addition to the physical body, our connection to nature provides immense healing. For this reason, I aim to be outside, hiking, biking, or just walking my dog as much as I can—and encourage my clients to do the same.
