My Approach to Helping

I became a therapist because I believe that everyone deserves to have a gentle, non-judgemental listening ear while attempting to problem solve some of life's most difficult moments. For me, the therapeutic relationship is a special connection that allows for creativity, exploration, discovery, and empowerment. I genuinely love being a therapist and wholeheartedly believe in the power of the therapeutic process. It is my dream that one day everyone will experience the transformational impact of psychotherapy. I would love to journey with you to help you achieve personal growth and set life-changing goals. I believe in the capacity for YOU to live YOUR best life.

I am extremely skilled at helping with the following issues:

Depression, Anxiety, Stress Management, Life Transitions, LGBTQ+ Issues, Disease Management, Sexual Health, Self ImageEsteem, Conflict Resolution, Relationship Issues, ParentChild Relationship, Grief & Loss, Men's Issues, Trauma

How Psychotherapy Can Help

Psychotherapy offers numerous benefits. A therapist can support you, nurture problem-solving skills, and offer tools for handling anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief, childhood trauma, stress, creative blocks, and body image issues. Many people find that therapists support personal growth, improve relationships, help with family and marriage issues, and make it easier to handle the challenges of daily life. Therapists can offer new perspectives on difficult situations, and help you uncover solutions. The benefits of therapy depend on what you invest in the process, and how well you put into practice the skills you learn. Commitment to change can make therapy more effective.

Had a Negative Therapy Experience?

The successful therapeutic process depends on the connection or relationship between therapist and client. I take great pride in making sure adequate focus is placed on the building of this relationship and ensuring that the needs of the client are heard and prioritized.
