My Approach to Helping
She holds a Master's Degree in Social Work as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. She is a Certified Life Coach. She is a veteran with 6 years of service in the US Army Reserves. She has over 20 years of experience working in a variety of clinical settings with a diverse range of people. Her experience includes medical and psychiatric hospital settings, residential treatment facilities, and nursing homes. Although she has experience working with individuals, couples, families, and children, she currently works with adults. Her special interests include preparation for surgery, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and stress management. In addition, she is experienced in facilitating groups and educational seminars. She holds Independent Clinical Licensure in the following states: Missouri, Kansas, and Virginia. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, listening to music, and supporting the youth basketball team she founded in 2017.
