My Approach to Helping
I am a motivational therapist and believe nothing will change unless you do! I believe in the law of attraction and manifesting anything we want in our lives. It all begins with our thoughts. I am passionate about helping change our thoughts from defeat to being empowered. Although I enjoy working with all populations, I have a tender heart for clients affectionately known as “Mom!” I recently authored two books: “15 Minute Journal Prompts for the Postpartum Mom” and “Mindful Mandalas for Moms.” I have experience working with children, military service members, couples, and young adults. I am a knowledgeable, warm, and goal-oriented therapist. I use a variety of treatment modalities depending on your needs. I primarily focus on: - solution-focused brief therapy - cognitive behavioral therapy - mindfulness - acceptance and commitment-focused therapy I’m happy to refer individuals diagnosed with bipolar, borderline personality (BPD), schizophrenia, eating issues, or substance abuse issues to one of my colleagues.
