My Approach to Helping

On the outside, everyone thinks you've got it all together. You're good at putting on a smile and pushing through. You've been checking the boxes in life but still feel overwhelmed, tired, and feel that you're running out of time. You're wondering if things should be this difficult? You've contemplated making some changes in your life, but are worried about what others may say, or whether you'd be making a big mistake.

With me, you can share your frustrations and fears, without worrying about judgment or disapproval. I enjoy having conversations with my clients in getting to know them better. We will work together to explore, understand and formulate goals that you may want to accomplish. My approach is collaborative in allowing you to guide what is most important to you.

In working with me, my hope is that you will walk away with more self-compassion and acceptance, allowing yourself to follow more of what you want vs. what you think you should be doing.

More Info About My Practice

I'm only able to offer virtual sessions throughout the state of Texas. For insurance billing purposes I use a service called Headway. Feel free to contact me for a free 15-minute consult to explore whether counseling could be of benefit to you.

Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed

Although the stigma of seeking treatment for mental health is slowly improving, many people still struggle to reach out for help fearing that they will be judged, or worse judging themselves. On the contrary, taking action and asking for help takes a lot of courage. Speaking to someone you don't even know can be a huge first step in starting to learn to take care of yourself. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
