My Approach to Helping
I am an expert in working with men who appear to have life figured out: they are often high achievers with a seemingly ideal family. Yet under the surface they are struggling. I am skilled in addressing challenges such as anger management, intimacy and sexuality, addictive behaviors, anxiety, career vs identity, and the impact of life transitions on a man’s mental health and sense of masculinity. I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), with experience using it to treat a variety of traumas.
A parent of two children, myself, I have specific expertise in working with new fathers. I help men address the challenges of balancing personal identity, family roles, and fatherly responsibilities. I empower them to embrace their roles as fathers with confidence and authenticity, helping them become more connected to themselves and their loved ones.
Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, I spent over two decades as a creative in the Entertainment Industry. I have a deep knowledge of that life’s challenges, including burnout, perfectionism, isolation, and anxiety.
