My Approach to Helping

Together, we'll embark on a journey of self-discovery and growth. With patience and curiosity, we'll unlock your greatest potential.

I use a relational approach to therapy that starts with building a collaborative, trusting relationship in a comfortable, safe, non-judgemental space. Therapy is a journey of self reflection and discovery that we will embark on together. This includes examining relationships and experiences, both past and present. Our work together can help you understand your feelings, gain insight into your fears and how to move past them for greater satisfaction. I work collaboratively with my clients to identify strengths, build resilience and enable you with the ability to create positive change in your own life.

I experienced a few devastating losses around when I was in college and I saw how much my family was hurting. I realized I wanted to be able to help during their hardest times. I now bring this to my sessions, as I have experienced how therapy helped me through hard times and has helped me become more self-aware and connected to myself, my feelings, and the world around me.

More Info About My Practice

I support reproductive rights, the LGBTQIA+ community, the chronically and terminally ill communities, the kink community, as well as many others. I support expanding access to affordable, quality mental health care and believe this mission is at the heart of what I do. I love to volunteer and am getting involved in my local communities and alumni associations to do so. As a social worker at the core of my identity, I think systemically, meaning that I consider all of the systems a person is part of and how they have shaped them so that I can see my clients holistically and in the context of their world. By actively fostering an environment of inclusivity and equity, I aim to empower clients to explore their identities and experiences.
