My Approach to Helping

If you're someone who consistently supports others, whether it's family, friends, or coworkers but feels like your own needs are often overlooked, you're not alone. As women, we often take on the role of caregiver, nurturer, and listener, but it can leave us feeling drained, disconnected, and unsupported.

With my background as a victim advocate in the court system and specialized training in narcissistic abuse, I’ve developed tools to help those affected by harmful behaviors. I also have extensive experience treating relational trauma, helping individuals regain their sense of peace, empowerment, and control.

I specialize in supporting women who excel at attuning to others but struggle to receive that same care in return. Through therapy, we’ll work together to create a space where you can finally be seen and understood. We’ll explore how to break free from old patterns, develop healthier boundaries, and build more fulfilling, balanced relationships.

Healing requires courage, and you don’t have to do it alone. If you’re ready to explore a different way forward and start receiving the care you deserve, I would be honored to support you. Reach out today for a free consultation and begin your journey to healing and self-empowerment.

My Therapy Focus

To better explain my approach, imagine your mind as a colossal, ancient library. This library has countless floors filled with books, each containing memories and experiences from your life.? Some books are at the front of the library, easily visible, well-organized, and familiar. These represent your conscious thoughts and feelings, the ones you engage with every day. For example, you might find a book about a cherished memory that sparked your love for a favorite hobby.? But as you venture deeper into the library, you?ll discover older, dusty books?some may even be hidden in locked vaults beneath the floor. These represent your unconscious mind, memories, and experiences you might not be fully aware of. One of these books might tell the story of a time you felt neglected, which has shaped your life in ways you don?t realize.?

Creating a safe, supportive space where you feel truly accepted is my greatest priority. Together, we?ll gently explore the library of you, uncovering and examining these hidden books. This foundation of trust allows us to explore your experiences deeply and work toward meaningful, lasting change. By understanding how your forgotten stories influence your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors today, we can foster healing and personal growth.

Groups I Work With

I work with a diverse range of populations, including individuals and couples, with a focus on those who have experienced relational trauma. This includes trauma from a parent, partner, friend, or peer, and I understand how these experiences can leave individuals feeling disconnected, misunderstood, or unworthy.

In addition to working with individuals, I also specialize in supporting couples as they navigate relationship challenges, whether it’s communication struggles, trust issues, or unresolved past trauma impacting their connection. My approach helps couples rebuild understanding, strengthen their bond, and foster a deeper, more fulfilling relationship.

I am also deeply committed to supporting the LGBTQ+ community. I recognize the unique challenges that LGBTQ+ individuals and couples often face, whether it’s related to identity, relationships, or societal pressures. My approach is inclusive, and I aim to create a space where everyone feels seen, heard, and supported, regardless of their background or identity.

Overall, I work with anyone seeking healing from relational trauma, providing a compassionate, safe, and supportive environment to foster personal growth, better relationships, and emotional well-being.
