My Approach to Helping

It would be an honor to join you on your journey of self-discovery, creating a nurturing environment where we can find peace, overcome challenges, and gain a deeper understanding of ourselves and those around us. Through my experiences in mental health hospital programs and addiction recovery centers, I have witnessed the incredible power of developing insight and effective coping skills in transforming lives. I am passionate about assisting you in unlocking your potential for desired change.

In my counseling approach, I lean into evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical-behavior therapy (DBT), harm reduction, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing. These modalities offer valuable insights and equip us with practical skills to navigate life's difficulties, while also enabling us to release self-judgment and biases that hinder our progress.

As a certified Gottman Level 1 clinician, I am happy to support you and your partner in fostering a deeper understanding, strengthening your connection, and navigating the ebb and flow of life and your relationship. I provide a safe and non-judgmental space where you and your partner can openly explore desires, confront challenges, and satisfy curiosities. By fostering open and honest conversations, I empower couples to navigate the complexities of intimacy and relationships with confidence and self-assurance.

While the journey may not always be easy, I firmly believe that with collaboration and a touch of humor, we can overcome any obstacle together.
