My Approach to Helping
I am a Mental Health Counselor providing tele-health therapy to adults and adolescents throughout Washington state. My goal as a therapist is to support clients with what they experience in life, as well as make key connections to the past and present to bring healthy change. Believing the therapeutic journey supports individual growth, I address common issues such as depression, sexual abuse, addiction, mental health, chronic illness, and relationships. I follow a relational psychodynamic approach with a focus on attachment, narrative, and family systems.
I hold a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology, BA in Human Services, and AA in Early Childhood Education. My experience includes working in the social work field for 20 years supporting families and their children’s development, participating in and leading recovery groups, as well as personal work supporting mindfulness practices for healthy self-improvement.
