My Approach to Helping
I create a judgment-free space where people experiencing OCD, ADHD, and anxiety can be their genuine selves. If you’re like many of my clients, you might have difficulty managing obsessive, intrusive thoughts and feel shame around your behaviors. Or, you might also find yourself struggling to pay attention, regulate difficult emotions, or focus on one task.
As a therapist, my goal is to provide support and tools to guide you along the path of personal growth. Therapy can be challenging, but that doesn’t mean it needs to be so serious. Bringing humor and humanism into the room creates a warm, safe environment where you can open up, be vulnerable, and get to the root cause of your challenges.
My person-centered approach uses a mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamics, and mindfulness. Through these modalities, we’ll uncover and challenge unhelpful patterns so you can take back control of your thoughts, your emotions, and–ultimately–your life.
Starting therapy is a big decision, but you don’t need to face this journey alone. I’m here to guide you along the path of self exploration, self acceptance, and self compassion so you can create new, supportive patterns that empower you to move forward in life.
