My Approach to Helping
Therapy should be a space where you feel supported, heard, and even—when appropriate—a little laughter along the way. I believe that healing happens best when we meet people where they are, without judgment, and work together to build a path forward.
As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, I have experience working in various mental health settings, including in-home, residential, and outpatient care. My therapeutic approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which means we’ll focus on the connection between thoughts, behaviors, and emotions while also incorporating mindfulness and skill-building to create meaningful, lasting change.
Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply looking for ways to improve your well-being, I’m here to help you gain insight, develop coping strategies, and maximize your potential. Therapy is a journey, and I’d love to support you along the way.
When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me taking walks around the lake, watching sports, or exploring new places across the country.
More Info About My Practice
At Omni Mental Health, we believe in providing a compassionate, supportive, and evidence-based approach to therapy. I work with individuals seeking help for anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, relationship challenges, and personal growth, with a special focus on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
DBT is a skill-based therapy that helps clients manage emotions, navigate relationships, and build a sense of balance and control in their lives. My approach integrates both practical skill-building and meaningful self-reflection to help clients gain insight, develop coping strategies, and create lasting change.
I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, so I strive to make the process as comfortable and accessible as possible. Whether you're new to therapy or have been through it before, my goal is to meet you where you are and provide the support you need to move forward.
I offer in-person and virtual therapy sessions and am happy to answer any questions you may have about getting started. If you’re wondering whether I’m the right fit for you, I encourage you to reach out—we can explore your needs together and take the first step toward healing and growth.
Had a Negative Therapy Experience?
If you?ve had a negative experience with therapy in the past, I want you to know that your feelings are completely valid. Finding the right therapist can be challenging, and not every approach or provider is the right fit for everyone. But that doesn?t mean therapy isn?t for you?it just means you haven?t found the right match yet.
My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and truly supported. I believe therapy should be a collaborative process, where we work together to find what works best for you. Whether your past experiences left you feeling unheard, judged, or like therapy "just didn?t work," I invite you to give it another try?with a fresh start and a therapist who prioritizes your needs.
If you?re unsure, I offer a free 15-minute consultation so you can ask questions, share your concerns, and see if we?re a good fit?no pressure, just a conversation. You deserve a therapy experience that feels helpful, empowering, and tailored to you, and I?d love the opportunity to help make that happen.
