My Approach to Helping

In a world where sexuality can be associated with a lot of shame and secrecy, I give clients openness and acceptance.

Amanda is Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). She offers general psychotherapy along with a focus on sex therapy and menopause. She is committed to guiding clients toward a more empowered and fulfilling life, fostering personal growth and emotional well-being through a therapeutic practice based on compassion and empathy. Her approach is based on feminist principles and emphasizes the importance of personal agency, inclusivity, equality, and respect.

A passionate advocate for sexual wellness and positivity, Amanda aims to dismantle stigma and empower individuals to embrace their unique identities. She is particularly dedicated to advancing menopause awareness and support, offering guidance and strategies that enable individuals to navigate menopause with grace and confidence.

Using a narrative-oriented approach, Amanda encourages clients to embrace their own stories and rewrite their narratives using strength-based, expressive, and somatic modalities.

Additionally, having spent 22 years in the music industry, Amanda intimately understands the demands and pressures that come with such a hectic career. Her firsthand knowledge allows her to assist individuals in managing stress, anxiety, and other challenges specific to entertainment fields, fostering well-being in all aspects of their lives.

Amanda still enjoys the feelings that concerts can bring and attends regularly. She is an avid cyclist and a long-time supporter of the Friends for Life Bike Rally in support of The Toronto People with AIDS Foundation. Amanda is part of the queer community, and is sexwork-, polyam-, and kink-friendly.
