My Approach to Helping

As a clinical mental health counselor, my approach is rooted in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel truly heard and understood. I believe that everyone has inherent strengths and resilience, and my role is to help them uncover and utilize those resources to navigate life's challenges.

I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I draw from various therapeutic modalities, tailoring my approach to each individual's unique needs and goals. I often incorporate elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. I also find value in exploring the impact of past experiences on present functioning, using psychodynamic principles when appropriate. For couples and families, I utilize systemic approaches to understand relationship dynamics and improve communication.

My focus is on empowering clients to become active participants in their healing process. I see myself as a guide, walking alongside them on their journey towards greater well-being.
