What's My Approach to Therapy?
Life can feel heavy at times. Maybe you find yourself lying awake at night, your mind racing with to-do lists, replaying what you didn’t finish, or worrying about what tomorrow will bring. You might feel stuck in your thoughts—frozen by overwhelm or weighed down by the pressure to hold everything together.
At work, you may feel like you’re falling short. At home, you might worry you’re not showing up the way you want to—as a parent, a partner, or a friend. That inner critic can be loud, always whispering that you’re not “enough,” no matter how hard you try.
Do you notice yourself striving for perfection, keeping the peace, or saying yes when every part of you is aching to say no? Overthinking, people-pleasing, and putting others first may have once helped you get through tough times. But after a while, they can leave you drained, disconnected, and unsure of what you truly need.
If any of this feels familiar, please know—you’re not alone. And you don’t have to carry it all by yourself. This can be a space to pause, breathe, and gently reconnect—with yourself, your needs, and a deeper sense of calm.
My Practice & Services
I’m so glad you’re here. My hope is that this can be a space where you feel safe to pause, take a breath, and reconnect with what matters most to you. Together, we’ll explore what it means to live in a way that feels authentic, grounded, and meaningful—even when life feels overwhelming or uncertain.
My approach is centered on helping you move toward a life that aligns with your values—one filled with connection, purpose, and self-compassion. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, burnout, people-pleasing, or simply feeling stuck, you don’t have to go through it alone. I’ll walk alongside you as we find a path forward, at a pace that feels right for you.
In our work together, we’ll focus on what’s most important to you and take small, realistic steps in that direction. Therapy doesn’t have to be perfect—it’s about creating a safe, supportive space where you can explore, grow, and heal. I draw from evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help build awareness, shift unhelpful patterns, and move toward the life you want. Most importantly, our work will be collaborative, compassionate, and always centered on what feels meaningful to you.
My Role as a Therapist
My role as a therapist is to walk alongside you?not to tell you who to be or how to live, but to support you as you discover what feels right and meaningful for you. This is your space to slow down, feel heard, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have been overlooked or pushed aside.
I?ll bring compassion, curiosity, and tools to help you explore what?s been weighing on you, but you set the pace. Some days, that might mean sharing your story and simply feeling understood. Other days, it might mean learning new ways to cope, practicing skills, or gently challenging the patterns that keep you feeling stuck.
Most of all, my role is to remind you that you?re not alone. Together, we?ll create space for growth, healing, and self-discovery?so you can move toward a life that feels more grounded, connected, and true to who you are.
