My Approach to Helping

Are you feeling lost, exhausted, or unsure of your identity and life's direction? Struggling with dissatisfaction in work or relationships, or grappling with feelings of inadequacy? You're not alone, and I’m here to help.

In our sessions, we'll explore these feelings together, helping you to better understand yourself and your choices. As a therapist, I value deep, lasting change, not just quick fixes. I’ll guide you to reflect on your patterns, motivations, and the roots of your struggles. My goal is to help you gain insight into yourself, improve your symptoms, and ultimately enrich your work, academic, and romantic life.

My journey as a therapist began in Italy and continued in the diverse community of San Francisco, where I offer therapy in both English and Italian. I bring warmth, compassion, and sensitivity to each session, fostering a safe space for you to explore your internal world. Together, we'll illuminate patterns that may have kept you stuck, and you'll discover new possibilities for growth and connection.

Clients describe me as generous and thoughtful, and I prioritize making therapy a comfortable experience, using flexibility, curiosity, and even humor to help you feel at ease. Therapy is a brave step, and I’m here to support you every step of the way, guiding you toward greater self-awareness, freedom, and a more authentic, fulfilling life.

If this resonates with you, let’s take that step forward together.

More Info About My Practice

I'm delighted to offer you an initial 50-minute consultation at no charge. If you decide to continue therapy afterward, we'll discuss my current fees.

Sessions typically last 50 minutes, once a week. While I don't participate with insurance companies, I can provide the paperwork needed for you to file a reimbursement claim with your out-of-network (PPO) benefits.

Feel free to visit my website (www.andreacrapanzanophd.com) for more details about me and my practice.

I'm eager to support you on your journey!

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

Being a psychotherapist is my passion. It allows me to bring meaningful change to others while experiencing my own growth. It's an honor to be part of people's stories, witnessing moments of hope, self-realization, and laughter. Guiding individuals to understand their behavior and respond differently is deeply rewarding.

Moreover, the diversity of human experiences continually enriches my practice. Each client brings a unique perspective and set of challenges, inspiring me to adapt and learn. It's a journey of mutual discovery and growth, where every session holds the potential for new insights and breakthroughs. This dynamic exchange fuels my love for this profession and reinforces my commitment to fostering positive change in both my clients and myself.
