My Approach to Helping

As your therapist, I’m committed to meeting your fundamental need to feel seen, heard, and understood. My lived experience with spousepartner loss, trauma, widowed parenting, and neurodiversity provides a therapeutic bond rooted in empathy. I offer quality care through a combination of diverse therapeutic approaches, neuroscience insights, and practical coping strategies. Our intuitively guided sessions will help uncover any hidden obstacles complicating your healing process. I provide a safe space for you to process challenges and equip you with tools, education, and strategies to support your transformation from survival to healing and growth.

More Info About My Practice

I believe mental health is physical health, food is medicine, and love is essential. We are all interconnected, and healing ourselves heals those around us. True healing begins when we understand that we can only control our responses, choices, and perspectives, sparking a shift deep within.

Becoming a young widowed parent in 2008 changed the course of my life. Since then, I’ve provided peer support to the grieving community, igniting a passion for addressing the unique needs of this population. As a neurodivergent mom to neurodivergent children, I’ve also become a strong advocate for neurodiversity.

My passion for educating others about grief, trauma, and neurodiversity has deepened my understanding of how these elements intersect. Learning the science behind the connection of mind, body, and spirit has been fascinating, and supporting others in these areas has been incredibly fulfilling.
