My Approach to Helping

After I completed graduate school, I was intrigued by conservations concerning sexuality among multiple women from various backgrounds. There is an epidemic of women who are unable to obtain sexual gratification. However, women tend to shy away from these conversations because of stigma and taboos. Realizing how unhappy these women were, I dedicated time and effort to helping other women openly discuss their lack of sexual pleasure and giving them the confidence to solicit guidance. A decrease in sexual drive can negatively impact relationships, and I have devoted my professional career to mending and improving relationships. I endeavor to continue to promote healthy relationships by encouraging women to explore options to enhance their sexual appetite and strengthen their capability of having an orgasm. I help clients conquer their sexual fascinations, thus surpassing relationship goals.

More Info About My Practice

Welcome! I am Dr. Anita Martin, Ph.D., LPC-S, MAC, SAP, ACS. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in Arkansas and an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist. In addition to being an EMDR Certified Therapist, I am an EMDRIA Approved Consultant and have been trained in Brainspotting. I offer online counseling services to people in the following states with licenses: AR, LA, MS, GA, and ID. There are a lot of reasons why people seek counseling. It's common for people to come to therapy to process trauma. Many have stressful jobs, relationship conflicts, school problems, or other challenges and want to fix them, but it's hard. Worried, sad, or both, some people don't know why or how to feel better. It is hard navigating life, especially when you're going through hardships and heartaches. You can often feel numb or out of control along the way. Working with my clients, I teach them how to navigate challenging roads to get where they want to go.

Using my clinical experience and training. I will guide you to self-exploration and teach you how to deal with these struggles in your life. I can help you find coping strategies that work in the real world. I'm here to help you better understand yourself, your feelings, or whatever you're going through. With guidance, you can regain control and reframe negative thoughts, set healthy boundaries, and remove limiting beliefs, leading to inner peace and clarity. With compassion, I'm here to help you grow. In my non-judgmental environment, I provide support and tools to help you become stronger. YOU just have to show up and do the work for yourself, not others.

In addition, I have worked in various settings, but currently, I am seeing clients in my private practice, where I have developed a diverse perspective in working with clients. As I walk with you on this journey we call life, I will empower you to reach your goals. Balancing your mind, body, soul, and spirit is key to healthy living. It's essential to protect your peace of mind. Realizing and understanding that I'm not okay is okay, and asking for help is okay. To acknowledge being a better you! Yes, YOU! Self-care is important, setting healthy goals is essential, and saying no shouldn't be a punishment. That's right, putting yourself first helps you be more present for yourself, your family, and others! Yes, YOU!
