My Approach to Helping
Thank you for being here. My name is Dr. Ann M. Hetzel, PhD. As a Clinical Psychologist, I’m committed to working with all people who choose to devote themselves to the challenging process of psychotherapy. My psychological work focuses on utilizing Third Wave Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, specifically Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), as well as many other modalities and influences, including Mindfulness, Meditation, and Tibetan Buddhism. Additionally, I specialize in Autism Spectrum Disorder, Agoraphobia, Anxiety, Depression, LGBTQIA+ challenges, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, and Trauma (PTSD), and I have worked with people as young as 12 months and as mature as 102 years.
