My Approach to Helping
Therapy is a collaborative process to help you lead your best life possible. My role is to guide and partner with you as we address what is important to you in a safe, nonjudgmental, and honest space. Together we will identify and address concerns that are negatively impacting your mental health, including changing unhealthy thinking and relationship patterns, building confidence, creating more satisfying and healthy relationships, and implementing useful tools to guide you throughout your life. I enjoy working with all individuals and couples throughout their life span, including young adults to seniors. Therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, relaxation, and The Gottman Method.
