My Approach to Helping
I work with individual adults, who struggle with anxiety, depression and transitions in life, such as adjusting to college or career, personal relationships, grief, change in family dynamics, etc. First we will explore in-depth what the presenting issue is, and we collaborate on a plan with goals to work towards.
Each of us is a whole person with different experiences and we all have personal stories to explore. In our sessions we begin with person-centered therapy to explore what led you to therapy. As things come up, we may use other types of therapies to explore specific thoughts & behavior patterns and how they impact your emotions & experiences through application of different strategies, to empower you to be the best version of yourself.
