My Approach to Helping
Hello, I’m Anna. I am a Registered Social Worker. I believe in developing a strong therapeutic relationship as the foundation for supporting healing and growth. I practice from an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed and strengths-based perspective. I work with individuals and couples experiencing depression, anxiety, stress, life transitions, low self-esteem, anger, and communication challenges.
For me, Emotionally Focused Therapy provides a clear path through the emotional distress we sometimes experience in relationships with partners, family members and friends. It helps us to cultivate healthy and loving relationships that support our mental health during life challenges and allow us to flourish and thrive.
