More Info About My Practice
You may be wondering, “why did you create Sky Therapies?” Well, I have the vision to empower my clients.
And it all started with my personal journey. Through my own healing journey, I gained awareness and understanding of what works. I developed a knowledge of what it takes to feel better from emotional difficulties.
My journey into psychotherapy began with a deep passion for helping others achieve wellness, initially through my career as a dietitian. Working closely with clients to improve their physical health, I quickly realized the profound connection between mind and body. It allowed me to appreciate the holistic nature of health. This insight inspired me to expand my expertise and become a psychotherapist. My background in dietetics enhances my therapeutic practice, enabling me to address both the psychological and physiological aspects of my clients’ challenges. This integrated approach is especially beneficial for healing from trauma and chronic pain, allowing me to provide more comprehensive and effective care, and supporting clients on their path to overall wellness.
What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
What I love most about being a psychotherapist at Sky Therapies is the privilege of being trusted with people?s stories?their fears, dreams, and the unseen parts of their journey. Each day, I am invited into a sacred space where people come not only to seek answers but to discover strength within themselves.
Online therapy is done from the comfort of your home, there is warmth and privacy, a refuge from the outside world where each person can feel safe enough to just be. I cherish this time we spend together, the collaborative unfolding of each client?s unique story, where my role is both a guide and a witness. It?s deeply fulfilling to walk alongside individuals, helping them find their way through pain, rediscovering purpose, and reconnecting to parts of themselves that have been hidden, sometimes for years.
At Sky Therapies, we don?t follow a one-size-fits-all approach. I?m grateful to practice evidence-based therapies like EMDR, Brainspotting, Deep Brain Reorienting and Pain Reprocessing Therapy that honor each person?s individuality, blending science with compassion. Watching someone transform as they reclaim peace and strength brings me a joy that?s hard to put into words. It?s a reminder of how resilient we are, how healing is not just about erasing pain but finding meaning and connection through it.
