I believe the important work of psychotherapy is to enhance present skills and develop stronger experiences of identity, choices, and self-determination. I see my role as helping you decide who you, who you might choose to become, and how you will respond to your goals, struggles, and strengths.
My communication style promotes experiences of supported safety wherein the client does not feel alone, judged, or disempowered. Clients can expect me to be honest, empathetic, curious, and direct. They will not find me telling them how to behave, think, or feel.
