My Approach to Helping

I became a therapist because I believe in the power of connection and healing. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment. I know life can feel overwhelming, and I'm here to help you navigate those challenges. Having immigrated to the United States from Ireland as a young woman, I understand what it’s like to adapt, draw on inner strengths, and manage overwhelming feelings that come with big transitions. Together, we’ll work to uncover your strengths, develop coping strategies, and set meaningful goals. My hope is for you to leave our sessions feeling empowered and more aligned with the life you envision. You don’t have to go through this alone—I’m here to walk alongside you on your journey, helping you find your inner strengths and power.

More Info About My Practice

I believe that with trust, rapport, and even a touch of humor, therapy can become a safe space for those seeking help. I am deeply committed to creating an inclusive environment where clients feel heard, validated, and empowered to grow. I strongly believe in each person’s inherent resilience and potential, and I actively support efforts to reduce stigma around mental health through social media and fundraising for charities focused on awareness and suicide prevention.

As an Irish immigrant who struggled to find affordable, quality healthcare, I am passionate about social justice and equitable access to mental health services. I believe everyone deserves quality care and support, regardless of their background or circumstances. In my personal life, I enjoy hiking and running for charities, especially those centered on mental health awareness. By combining my professional expertise with a commitment to social responsibility, I hope to inspire clients and empower them on their journey.
