April listens to better understand what you want in life and in therapy. Based on the symptoms and issues the client is experiencing, April will work with the client to form therapeutic goals to achieve throughout sessions. She will also help set future life goals with the client and figure out steps to get the client where they want to be in life. During the first session, April will begin with an introduction to therapy and verbal informed consent. Then she will answer any questions the client may have about therapy. After that, April will conduct an assessment to better understand the client. Finally, April will work with the client to step up a time for the next session.
