My Approach to Helping
Hello! Thank you for being interested in the way I have created my practice to use eclectic therapies to meet the needs of my clients. I have my undergraduate degree in Art Therapy, and I have my masters degree in social work. Both of these I use in therapy with young adults, adults and the aging populations. I also use equine-assisted therapy (certified through EAGALA since 2016) and Reiki as appropriate with clients that wish to have alternative sessions. These methods combined help create shifts are often an efficient way to collapse the length of therapy needed to reach your desired goals. Therapy with me means sessions are not always the same. While there are special conversations that occur within my office space, there are also special meaningful moments that occur with the horses or with the art project. In the beginning, we collaborate to determine your comfortable pace for therapy, for your desired goals. Using these, along with your budget we create a customized plan for your treatment. Feel free to schedule a free consultation, I look forward to hearing from you!
More Info About My Practice
I see clients through Telehealth, in my office and in open air with the horses. I also facilitate corporate learning sessions with my equine herd to empower and strengthen office teams by building communication through activities with the horses. Let's customize a plan for you to reach your desired potential within your life. You have the option to combine different therapy options to meet the demanding time frame needs within your life, and to balance your needs with your budget. Therapy with me is truly customizable, as a grass roots mental health practice, I saw the need for variance in creating opportunities for access to different kinds of therapy in one place.
Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
I am skilled at helping people determine their preferable boundaries within their lives. Many of us wear many hats, and as our lives become chaotic with these different roles, sometimes we forget to take time for ourselves so that we can maintain our priorities.
What I Usually Need to Know to Help
I need to know about your own readiness to meet your own desired goals. This motivation is so important to your success in therapy, and which opportunities will benefit you the most.
