My Approach to Helping
"Do you ever struggle with depression, trauma, grief, anxiety, addiction, relationships, andor stress management? I utilize a person-centered and client-focused approach to help you navigate life. I provide a safe and non-judgmental space for us to work on your therapeutic goals to get you feeling better and becoming the best version of yourself. I have been working in the mental health and community behavioral health fields since 2014. I became a therapist because I love to help others. I find it to be a great privilege to be a part of someone's journey to healing. I love to see people find and use inner strength and resiliency to make progress toward positive and healthy change. My areas of expertise include: trauma, depression, anxiety, self-esteemself-worth, life adjustments, militaryveterans issues, substance use, and severe mental illness. I utilize an integrated therapeutic approach to assist clients in reaching their goals for therapy. By utilizing an integrated approach, I am able to adjust my therapeutic style to fit your needs. I do not believe therapy is ""one size fits all"" and I believe the therapist should adapt to the client, rather than the client to the therapist. This results in you receiving personalized care based upon your individual needs. These treatment approaches include but are not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral, Solution-Focused, Humanistic, and Strengths-Based Therapies. I can be reached by using the direct schedule feature.
