My Approach to Helping

Born and raised in Texas, I have a true passion for keeping strong Texan values alive and strong thorough support of my community. I have been inspired by the strong family traditions and values instilled by my close knit family and life experience. Backed by a well-rounded education and guiding philosophy of marriage as the cornerstone of our society, I seek to develop and celebrate the strength of others through counseling those in need. In addition, I have a strong passion and belief in adolescents and couples, and understand that bumps along the road can come at any age and stage of life. Helping our youth brings me true joy and satisfaction, as they grow into the people they want to become.

I believe in the ability of others to succeed and overcome all that life may bring. As a systemic therapist, I take into account the many outside forces and influences that creep in and impact our personalities, behaviors, perspectives, situations and lives, both positively and negatively. The holistic approach of Family Systems Therapy has been used effectively in the full range of human dilemmas; there is no category of relationship or psychological problem that has not been addressed with this approach.
