My Approach to Helping

For over 30 years I have worked in my community with individuals, couples and families as they struggle to find a more harmonious way to live with themselves and each other. I believe in the sacredness of each individual and their right to experience themselves in their uniqueness and in their right to belong. To that end my office is a safe and special place where each client is accepted for who he/she is as we work together to help her/him find relief from anxiety, depression and fears.
I believe that my years of experience in working with people and my education and training both here and at the National Marriage Guidance Council in England have given me a unique perspective on life and on what is required to find internal strength and peace. I believe that clients can then go on to better relationships with themselves and others.

My Role as a Therapist

My joy as a therapist is watching clients discover and accept their dignity as unique and loveable individuals. I believe that my role as a therapist is to facilitate that growth and to help each client find their own answers to life in a safe and comfortable environment.
