You are consistently telling yourself that you should just try harder, that you should just put in more effort, but you still feel like you’re falling behind in every area of your life.
The guilt and shame are eating you up. You aren’t a bad parent…you’re an overwhelmed parent. You’re an overstimulated parent. You’re a parent trying to do your best with the skills that you were given. You deserve to get your needs met without feeling ashamed.
