My Approach to Helping
I have extensive experience working with people, especially working with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and loss. I believe in an approach based on client strengths and resilience. The therapeutic process is designed to develop effective coping techniques and strategies. This framework supports clients in learning how to create a foundation and a set of skills to meet the challenges of life today and in the future. My specialty is strengths-based, solution-focused therapy for men and women. I am experienced in the addiction recovery field in residential settings for men and women. I have provided individual and group counseling addressing substance abuse. My passion is to use my training and experience to provide clinical skills and real-world strategies. I work with each individual at their pace and address issues that each client defines as most important to their quality of life.
