My Approach to Helping
Coming into therapy could turn out to be the most significant step you've ever taken. Therapy can help people learn to handle challenging emotions and to stop behaviors that prevent them from being happy. Therapy teaches people to get out of their own way and live successful, fulfilling lives.
I help people with issues such as anger, depression, anxiety, trauma, work stress, bereavement, accidents, and illnesses. I work with couples, individuals, and families, including blended families. I offer solution-focused, psychodynamic, and cognitive-behavioral approaches, and also use life coaching where appropriate. I tailor my approach to meet the individual needs of my clients.
