My Approach to Helping

My approach combines Mindfulness, EFT Tapping and Coaching to shift how you feel mentally, emotionally and physically, here and now, in each session.

Change does not have to take a long time. You should leave most sessions feeling better than you did when you came in. Deep emotional work, and deep transformation should not have to take years of therapy. I believe in the vast healing potential of the mind and body and take a holistictranspersonal view of wellness.

Energy Psychology techniques - particularly EFT (Meridian Tapping) enable you quickly release emotional and even physical pain, as well as transform negative or self-limiting thoughts. Our basic foundation is Energy and when energy shifts, so does the body and the mind. When we address our deeper subconscious blocks, increase our self-awareness, and shift our energy, change happens instantly.

Meridian Tapping techniques such as EFT are now considered evidence-based, highly effective approaches to resolving trauma, anxiety, stress and a number of other issues.

Therapy should take place within a trusting, compassionate and safe relationship between therapist and client. Deep respect for your process, your feelings and your goals are necessary to make therapy a satisfying and life-changing experience.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I love connecting and being my real and authentic self with my clients. I love practicing being present and non-judgmental. And I especially love the look of peace, joy, and relief that my clients often experience when their pain suddenly disappears. I feel uplifted, transformed and inspired by my clients every day, and am grateful to be able to do such meaningful work.

My Role as a Therapist

My role is mainly to help my clients to feel better and to empower them to be in charge of their own reality. I first focus on creating a comfortable, trusting, genuine relationship where the client feels free to be themselves and drop their pretenses. Then I help them to focus inward and identify the core issues that are causing pain of any kind (or the issues that are getting in the way of being more happy, successful, passionate and alive). I then use processes including mindful dialogue, Meridian TappingEFT, andor meditation to guide my clients to a deeper state of self-awareness and balance where stuck emotional and energetic patterns are quickly, and often permanently released.
