My Approach to Helping
Welcome! I am an emopunk and art-loving therapist in Georgia offering person-centered, empowerment-based counseling for adults. I work with neurotypical and neurodiverse individuals facing challenges such as substance (mis)use, BPD, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, OCD, and life transitions. I’ll walk with you through your therapy journey, supporting you through tough moments and celebrating your growth and clarity while tailoring sessions to your unique needs and goals.
In my practice, you are the expert on your own lived experiences, and I honor and validate your unique journey. My approach is tailored to meet your specific needs and goals, using a combination of dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to help you build confidence, heal, and grow.
Together, we’ll create a safe, supportive space where you can show up exactly as you are, free from judgment, as we work together to challenge, validate, and affirm your experiences, empowering you to move forward at your own pace.
More Info About My Practice
Therapy with me is collaborative, validating, and built around what works for you. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach; every client is different, and our work together will be tailored to your unique experiences, needs, and goals. My role isn’t to “fix” you or tell you what to do, it’s to help you understand yourself more deeply, challenge unhelpful patterns, and build the tools you need to navigate life with more confidence and stability. I take a warm, down-to-earth, and practical approach, blending CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and strengths-based therapy to help you create meaningful, sustainable change.
Sometimes, that means structured skill-building; other times, it’s about processing emotions and exploring deeper patterns. No matter what, you can expect a space that is judgment-free, affirming, and tailored to your pace. I love seeing those moments when things start to click for my clients—when a new perspective opens up, when a skill they’ve practiced suddenly works, or when they start to trust themselves in ways they didn’t before. Therapy isn’t about changing who you are—it’s about helping you step into your own strength, resilience, and self-understanding.
