My Approach to Helping
Have you been struggling with anxiety or depression? Do you want to lower your stress, increase your confidence, and get back to normal functioning?
Maybe you recently experienced job loss, divorce, the passing of a loved one, or another life-altering event. Perhaps you’re looking for support in navigating these challenging life transitions as well as regaining motivation and hope for the future. Deep down, you probably wish that there was someone you could trust while you’re feeling vulnerable—someone who can help you tap into your strengths and hold hope for you until you are able to feel hope again for yourself.
As a therapist who specializes in treating anxiety and depression, I’m confident that I can fill that role in your life. I use a wide range of evidence-based treatments, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), to help clients challenge negative thought patterns and improve their functioning.
The brain has an incredible ability to change—this is something that’s backed by science as well as something I’ve personally witnessed many times since I began working with clients in 2010. You don’t have to keep feeling the same way forever, nor are you confined to the same beliefs. With the right support, you can heal, adapt, and thrive for years to come.
