My Approach to Helping
Hi, I'm Brenna Cibley, a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor II, and my journey in the field of Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder (SUD) is deeply personal and professional. My own experiences with an eating disorder, which often co-occurs with SUD, have profoundly shaped my approach to helping others heal.
I believe that everyone's journey towards recovery is as unique as their own story. This understanding is at the core of my approach to treatment. I strive to provide individualized care that recognizes and respects the distinct needs and experiences of each person. My goal is to foster an environment where self-love and self-worth are not just encouraged but are seen as essential components of the healing process.
Throughout my career, which has spanned various roles from Case Manager to Supervisor of Case Management Services, and most recently as Program Director, I have consistently focused on patient care. My commitment is to offer not just my expertise but also empathy, understanding, and unwavering support.
My passion extends beyond individual care to broader issues like Mental Health Advocacy and women’s issues. I am dedicated to fighting the stigma often associated with Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder diagnoses. I believe that breaking down these barriers is crucial for creating a more understanding and supportive society where individuals feel empowered to seek the help they need.
