My Approach to Helping
If juggling work, life, and relationships has made your life miserable, therapy can help. As men we want to fix things, which is great, but in relationships this can be a weakness. Effective emotional communication is hard and one of the top complaints of partners. Society has taught men to be emotional ignorant which has led to incredible high rates of addiction, depression, and anxiety. As men we often need practical solutions and tangible results before we start to buy in to therapy. I team up with and am direct with my clients. I give practical solutions, and work to increase emotional intelligence to help make life better. I specialize in anxiety, anger, relationships, and male depression while equipping my clients with tools to handle whatever life throws at them.
As someone who has undergone many of the challenges my clients face, I know that there's light at the end of the tunnel. I focus on reframing problems and finding individual unique strengths through the vast array of male-specific issues and the stigma they may face.
