My Approach to Helping

My name is Dr. Brian Beaumund, and I am a licensed clinical psychologist and the proud owner and director of Front Range Psychological Services. Our mission is to offer high-quality psychotherapy and assessment services tailored for adults, adolescents, and children.

At Front Range, we understand that everyone comes with unique concerns. Whether you're grappling with relationship conflicts, battling depression or anxiety, coping with grief and loss, navigating men’s issues or women’s health, addressing chronic pain, working on emotion regulation, or dealing with trauma—we're here to help.

More Info About My Practice

At our practice, we embrace a collaborative and client-centered approach that places the individual at the forefront of their therapeutic journey. Our methodology is grounded in the belief that clients possess a profound understanding of themselves, serving as a valuable foundation for shaping a comprehensive picture of their unique challenges and therapeutic goals.

In practical terms, our collaborative approach involves actively engaging with clients to elicit their perspectives on personal experiences, strengths, and areas of concern. This valuable input becomes the cornerstone for tailoring our clinical interventions with precision, aligning them seamlessly with the unique needs of each client.

Our emphasis on insight-oriented treatment sets the stage for profound self-discovery. We guide clients towards developing an acute awareness of how life experiences, including childhood, traumas, and past relationships, have sculpted their present identity. This newfound insight becomes a powerful catalyst for purposeful change, allowing individuals to modify aspects of themselves and their environment in pursuit of their goals. Ultimately, this process contributes to a reduction in present suffering and facilitates a journey towards a more fulfilling and balanced life.

In addition to our commitment to insight-oriented work, our therapeutic toolkit includes a diverse range of evidence-based interventions. These interventions, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), relaxation techniques, assertiveness training, mindfulness, distress tolerance, and exposure-based interventions, are strategically employed to address specific challenges and enhance overall well-being.

By integrating these therapeutic modalities, we create a dynamic and individualized therapeutic experience that empowers clients to navigate their unique paths towards healing and personal growth. Our collaborative approach ensures that clients actively participate in the therapeutic process, fostering a sense of agency and ownership over their transformative journey. At Front Range, we are dedicated to providing a supportive and personalized therapeutic space where clients can embark on a journey of self-discovery, resilience, and lasting positive change.
